Christmas Shoes

Well ......... I was asked to make some shoes again ......
So I thought ........
a pair of Christmas shoes !!!

I decorated each heel of the shoe so that the swirls
come down the outer of the shoe to the front flower.
I have to say I'd LOVE a real pair like this !!

Here is a close up of the front......

And one of the heel ...........

All you need now is a bag to match !
Well ........ maybe I might do one !!

The Shoes can be used as name places or favour boxes, glift boxes......
You can get a lovely cello bag of chocolates inside them
very easily !!! Yum !

Click HERE for the template I used to make the shoes.

Heartfelt Creations

To make the shoes I used the following:
(NO they are not hard, fiddly the first time perhaps
but one you have made them .......... EASY !!!)
459222 Paper Blossoms Tools
452255 Grand Calibur
HCDP1 246 Festive Christmas Paper Pad
HCPC 3415 Petite Poinsettia PreCut
125156 Layered Poinsettia Shapeabilities
HCD 738 Ornamental Add on Die
HCPC 3551 Holly Berry Precut set

Other Products Used : All purpose Glue, glitter glue, gems, Red ink, brown
ink, Peeled paint ink, template, tacky glue, template, white pen.

Print and cut out the template on white card. Draw around the template
on your paper twice for the outer shoe pattern. Make marks for where the folds
are but don't draw them on. Cut out and fold. Adhere the heel first and then the
inner flat of the shoe to the sides. Draw around the template again for the inner
on contrasting paper. Cut it out omitting the bottom of the heel and the top flap
that forms the top of the shoe. This allows the paper to fold inside the shoe and
line it. The fold for the inner sole across the shoe, make sure this is in place
to give a good fit. Adhere the side and the toe of the inner to the outer and
trim the sides. Adhere the rectangle inner piece over to cover all lines to give a
smooth look. Finally adhere the top of the shoe together. To decorate stamp, emboss
and cut the poinsettias. Adding a gem to the centres. Stamp cut and colour the
leaf swirls. Glitter the berries. Adhere two swirls across the front toe and
adhere a poinsettia on top. Adhere swirls along the outer side of the shoe and
down the heel. Adhere two poinsettias to the corner of the heel and your project
is complete.
