Have a sweet day!

It's Heartfelt Wednesday and we have a new release to share with you!!

Warm breezes blow, busy bees buzz from blossom to blossom, and perfectly shaped,
ripe berries beckon you as you catch a glimpse of them through the vines
winding their way up the rickety old picket fence in the picture perfect garden patch.
Bring back fond memories of strawberry picking while the early morning dew
still lingered on the vines with the new release by Heartfelt Creations.
The Berry Cafe Collection will have you reminiscing of filling pails until
overflowing while playing the game of "two for me" and "one for the pail",
which always led to the task taking a tad longer. Travel back in time to the days
of your childhood where you shared your first strawberry milkshake,
or float at the local ice cream parlour with that special someone you so adored.
Filled with sweet illustrations of vining strawberries, adorable children,
elegant blossoms, old fashioned strawberry stands as well as delicately
patterned papers featuring eyelet prints, soft checks, ornate borders
and delicious clusters of strawberries nestled among flowers,
you are certain to find yourself warming in the berry patch and
hankering for a cold strawberry treat. Happy hues of pinks, reds, yellows,
blues and greens create a cheerful colour palette that is sure to make your
heart sing the songs of summer.  Five extraordinary cling stamp sets allow you to
recreate all of the memories of strawberry picking and enjoying the fruit from the vine.
Colour and shape your way to a lush and productive garden plot where blossoms
and fruit abound, being careful to avoid the ever busy bees.  After all
of the toiling and care, reap your rewards, head on over to the fruit stand
where anxious passerby’s will be ready to invest in your delicious crop...
and once the day is done, grab a friend and treat yourselves to that special
strawberry flavoured treat with a generous helping of whipped topping!
We present to you the ideal collection to welcome summer!

Make sure you check out the blog and see the fabulous projects
with the Berry Cafe collection!! It's as sweet as can be!

Thinking of you.

As my daughter challenged me in January to not buy any crafty stash until July...
Yes ...... I know!! I had the shakes agreeing to it !! lol!
I thought I had better finally use some of the dies I have unused piled in the corner!
The die in question being the Spellbinders Floral Assortment Squares die set!

Lol I think this card took me 10 mins to make I love when I have spare flowers
and leaves in my stash that I can just pull out of my drawers!
These are the Sunrise Lily flowers and Classic leaves from Heartfelt Creations.
Of course My true love is white card and these flowers just pop on white
so a white on white card it had to be!! lol

It would have been my Grandmas's Birthday today, she would have been 98!
So as the sentiment says, my thoughts are with her today.

Happy crafting everyone!

Wedding gift bag

Here is my project this week for Crafter's Companion!
You know when you are busy doing something and all of a sudden
a craft idea pops into your head?? lol!
Well this popped into mine while sat in the hospital waiting room!
It took me three days to get to make it though!! lol

I thought this would make a great little gift box for a wedding
OR it would make great confetti boxes at a wedding, or even a favour box!!
So easy to make, die cuts and a strip of card that you
feather cut along the sides to adhere to the die cuts!
Add ribbon for handles and decorate!

To make the project I used:
Sara Signature Floral Delight Pretty Petals die
Sara Signature Floral Delight In bloom die set
Sara Signature Together Forever Mr and Mrs Die
Sara Signature Together Forever Luxuury Matt Mirror Card
Sara Signature Love and Romance Decorative Heart die

Thinking of You

Here is my card this week for Crafter's Companion!
You know when you are awake in the night for hours and just can't get back to sleep?
Well this is what I came up with the other night so I just had to make it!

I wanted to use the Downton Abbey frame die with a photo.
I thought this was more than a card, it is something personal that could sit out all year long!
It would have been my Grandma's birthday this month, she LOVED lilac
so I made this with her in mind, the photo is of her in the 1940's.
She still inspires my crafting, bless her.
Hope you like this!

To make the card I used:
Sara Signature Floral Delight Pretty Petals die
Sara Signature Floral Delight Leafy Flourish die
Sara Signature Floral Delight Thinking of you stamp

Happy Crafting
